About the role
The Conflict Transformation and Livelihood Project Assistant will support the implementation of the “Pads for All” project in Yumbe District, Uganda. Working within HEKS/EPER’s triple‑nexus approach, the assistant will help integrate conflict‑transformation methods into humanitarian and development interventions, ensuring community‑driven and rights‑based outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support for the “Pads for All” project activities.
- Strengthen the integration of conflict‑transformation approaches across interventions.
- Facilitate community mobilization and coordinate with local stakeholders.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluation processes, including data collection and reporting.
- Support coordination meetings and documentation of project progress.
Required profile
- Experience or academic background in conflict transformation, peacebuilding, or humanitarian project support.
- Familiarity with community mobilisation and coordination in a rural Ugandan context.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse partners and beneficiaries.
