Creative Designer

About the role

Swangz Avenue Uganda is looking for an imaginative, visually driven Creative Designer to bring campaigns to life visually. The role is not a traditional corporate design position: you will act as a key visual storyteller, owning the conceptualization and execution of high-impact artwork, key visuals and digital adaptations for internal campaigns and a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Unpack campaign themes and build visual concepts that capture the energy and attitude of today's generation.
• Design bold, attention-grabbing key visuals (hero assets) and adapt versatile digital assets across formats.
• Explore colour, typography and styling that speaks authentically to audiences.
• Collaborate with creative and production teams to deliver compelling visual narratives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Creative Designer or Art Director in an agency, media or fast-paced creative environment.
• A strong, diverse portfolio showing visual storytelling, digital campaign adaptation and modern design trends.
• An instinctual creative thinker who interprets briefs well; a formal background is welcome but not required.
