Customer Service Associate – Grand Market

About the role

The Customer Service Associate at Grand Market greets shoppers, answers product and promotion questions, and ensures a smooth checkout experience. You will handle cash, process transactions, and keep the front‑end area clean and organized while delivering friendly, courteous service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers as they enter the store and assist with inquiries.
• Answer questions about products, promotions, pricing, and availability.
• Operate the POS register, scanner, scale, and printers to process sales, returns, coupons, and gift certificates.
• Manage cash handling, including daily cash drawer reconciliation and variance control.
• Maintain a clean, safe checkout area and ensure shelves are stocked and rotated according to instructions.
• Follow store policies for tobacco, OTC drugs, and vendor check‑in procedures.
• Provide feedback on customer experience at checkout.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
