Customer Support Specialist

About the role

Baasa Cloud is a web hosting and website development company offering domain registration, managed hosting, custom website design and technical support. It is looking for a dedicated, customer-focused Customer Support Specialist to join its team on a full-time, fully remote basis. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with orders, account activation, payments and service inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers with orders, account activation, payments and service inquiries.
• Respond promptly and professionally to support tickets, emails, live chats and WhatsApp messages.
• Guide customers through domain registration, hosting account setup and website onboarding.
• Assist with billing questions, payment processing and online payment issues.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to websites, domains and hosting, escalating complex problems to the technical team.
• Follow up on open issues until resolved and keep customers informed of progress.
• Document customer interactions and issues accurately in the support system.
• Share recurring feedback and common issues with the technical and product teams.

Required profile

• Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic understanding of websites, domain names, web hosting and online payments.
• Comfortable using computers, email, WhatsApp and other web-based systems.
• A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
