Demand Planner – SAP APO Forecasting

About the role

The Demand Planner will own the statistical forecasting process for East African Breweries' product portfolio, using SAP APO to generate accurate baseline forecasts that feed into the monthly S&OP cycle. You will work closely with the Demand Manager and Business Partner to ensure data integrity and drive forecast accuracy across all SKUs and locations.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and maintain a rolling 18‑month baseline statistical demand forecast.
• Own the statistical forecast, monitoring deviations from shipment and depletion trends.
• Use SAP APO as the primary forecasting tool, maintaining parameters, master data, and disaggregation factors.
• Analyse outliers, optimise statistical models, and apply corrective adjustments.
• Collaborate on forecast history cleansing and document assumptions such as market trends, seasonality, and promotions.
• Support scenario planning for promotions, new product launches, and major market events.
• Deliver regular reports, insights, and recommendations to supply chain stakeholders.
