Distribution Supervisor

About the role

The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for implementing AB InBev safety standards and overseeing distribution operations, including delivery planning, truck scheduling, and dispatch, to optimise customer service and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise distribution activities, ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and vehicle regulations, and maintain site housekeeping standards.
• Manage routing, scheduling, fleet utilisation, driver allocation, and contingency plans to meet delivery targets.
• Oversee invoicing, trip sheet generation, customer query handling, and ensure accurate documentation of deliveries.
• Control inventory, supervise stock counts, manage breakages, and coordinate with production and warehouse teams.
• Monitor cost control measures for fuel, overtime, third‑party invoices and driver allowances.
• Lead people management tasks including performance reviews, disciplinary actions, training needs identification and recruitment.

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial performance management within FMCG or beverage industry.
• Strong numerical capabilities, results orientation and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Teams).
• Fluent English communication, both verbal and written.
