Executive Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking an Executive Sales professional to join Marriott International’s Sales & Marketing team in Kampala. The role focuses on maximizing revenue through effective guest interactions, up‑selling, and loyalty program management while maintaining the high standards of the Marriott brand.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest calls, requests and problems, directing them to the appropriate department.
• Apply sales techniques to up‑sell services and promote Marriott Rewards, including processing point redemptions and complimentary gifts.
• Handle all reservation requests, changes and cancellations via phone, fax or email, entering data accurately into the reservation system.
• Perform general office duties for the Sales & Marketing department such as filing, emailing, typing and faxing.
• Support management in training and motivating staff, serving as a role model.
• Maintain brand standards, ensure professional appearance and protect confidential information.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests and internal teams to achieve common goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant sales or hospitality experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reservation management software.
