Food Service Worker – School Cafeteria

About the role

Join our school community as a Food Service Worker and help create a safe, clean, and welcoming dining experience for students and staff. This full‑time, onsite position is ideal for dependable team players who enjoy working with people and supporting a vibrant educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to recipes, production records, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and service area, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.
• Stock serving lines, salad bars, and milk coolers; manage food storage, rotation, and sanitation.
• Serve meals courteously to students, staff, and visitors.
• Assist with deliveries, inventory organization, and covering shifts as needed.
• Submit required reports and meet assigned deadlines.

Required profile

• Previous food service or cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic, teamwork orientation, and reliability.
• Comfortable with repetitive tasks and routine work.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Pass background check and fingerprint screening.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work around children.
• Respectful, inclusive, and professional demeanor.
