Graphic Design & Operations Internships at Creative Arts Agency

About the role

Gem Zavanna, a creative arts agency focused on sustainable creative careers in East Africa, is offering two unpaid internships – Graphic Design and Operations – to support its WellFest Uganda project and broader cultural initiatives. Interns will work primarily from Kampala (with hybrid or remote options) and will receive hands‑on mentorship from experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Graphic Design Intern: create branded visuals for social channels, events, and campaigns using the Gem Zavanna brand system, including social graphics, event collateral, and WellFest promotion.
• Operations Intern: assist with office administration and coordinate logistics for WellFest Uganda, covering scheduling, documentation, supplier coordination, venue and vendor management, and day‑of event operations.

Required profile

• Early‑career professionals or students who are organized, reliable, and eager to learn.
• Strong communicators with a genuine interest in the arts and the creative economy.
• Attitude and reliability are valued above specific experience.
