Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Staff

About the role

We are seeking an HSE Staff member to oversee the implementation of occupational health, safety and environmental practices at our operational sites. The role involves daily monitoring, hazard identification and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the application of occupational health, safety and environmental (OHS‑E) standards in operational areas.
• Conduct regular inspections, safety patrols and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable safety regulations.
• Assist in incident investigations and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain reports and documentation related to HSE activities.

Required profile

• Minimum D3/S1 degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in HSE, preferably within the mining sector or mining contractors.
• Knowledge of OHS principles, safety regulations and HSE management systems.
• AK3 General certification or other HSE certifications are a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical abilities and willingness to work on‑site with a roster schedule.
