Hotel Cleanliness Expert – Guest Environment Specialist

About the role

As a Hotel Cleanliness Expert, you will be the front‑line guardian of the guest environment at a Marriott property in Kampala. You will ensure that every guest space – from rooms to public areas – meets the brand’s high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, lobbies, and other public areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services.
• Stock cleaning carts, replenish supplies, and manage inventory of housekeeping items.
• Follow all safety, security, and confidentiality procedures while performing duties.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lb without assistance and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Perform any other reasonable housekeeping duties as assigned by management.
