General Manager – Salon Operations

About the role

The General Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of STUDIO256 Unisex Salon, ensuring high standards of service, hygiene and customer satisfaction. This role combines operational oversight, team leadership and business development to drive growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily salon operations, including opening, closing, cleanliness, health & safety compliance and appointment flow.
• Supervise and schedule stylists, assistants, receptionists and other staff, handling recruitment, onboarding and performance monitoring.
• Deliver exceptional client experiences, manage complaints, monitor online reviews and foster client loyalty.
• Drive retail sales of salon products, track performance metrics and develop strategies to increase bookings and revenue.
• Manage inventory, place orders, maintain supplier relationships and conduct regular stock audits.
• Support local marketing initiatives, promotions, social media presence and brand standards.

Required profile

• Previous management experience in a salon, spa, retail or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
