HR Operations Specialist

About the role

Twyford International Uganda is looking for a detail‑oriented HR Operations Specialist to support daily HR administration. The role ensures accurate attendance, leave, onboarding, and record‑keeping while maintaining compliance with company policies and Ugandan labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor employee attendance, prepare reports for payroll, and train supervisors on procedures.
• Maintain leave records, process applications, and generate periodic leave utilization reports.
• Coordinate onboarding activities, prepare contracts, and facilitate orientation for new hires.
• Keep confidential employee records up to date, manage statutory data, and support HR audits.
• Assist in preparing HR reports, analysing employee data, and responding to HR‑related inquiries.
• Provide administrative support for HR projects and any other duties assigned by the HR Manager or Business Partner.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in HR administration or operations.
• Experience with attendance systems, leave administration and employee records; manufacturing experience is a plus.
