Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager at YooKatale will lead end‑to‑end HR operations in a hybrid setting, supporting both onsite and remote teams. This full‑time role focuses on recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations and policy implementation, all aligned with the company’s customer‑centric culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to candidate selection and onboarding.
• Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews and feedback.
• Administer HR contracts, benefits, personnel records and ensure compliance with Ugandan labour laws.
• Provide guidance to leadership on workforce planning, organizational development and change management.
• Support training, coaching and leadership development initiatives.
• Promote employee engagement, well‑being and inclusive, equitable workplace practices.
• Utilise HR metrics and data to improve decision‑making and optimise HR processes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of HR administration, benefits management and compliance with local labour regulations.
• Experience in organizational development, change management and supporting training programmes.
• Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing onsite presence with remote responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; professional HR certification is a plus.
