Insurance Sales Agent

About the role

Prudential Uganda is looking for a full‑time, on‑site Insurance Sales Agent to join its branch. You will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, presenting suitable insurance solutions and supporting customers in selecting products that meet their protection and investment needs.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach and follow‑up.
• Conduct needs assessments, explain policy details and prepare quotations.
• Process applications and ensure accurate documentation.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to branch sales goals.
• Provide ongoing customer service and support after sale.
• Collaborate with colleagues on branch activities and promotional initiatives.
• Uphold Prudential’s values, comply with regulatory requirements and represent the brand professionally.

Required profile

• Strong background in insurance sales with a focus on meeting targets and growing a client portfolio.
• Knowledge of insurance products; experience in insurance brokerage is a plus.
• Solid customer‑service abilities, including clear communication and active listening.
• Comfortable working in a structured, on‑site environment and collaborating with team members.
• Diploma or degree in any field; prior experience in financial services or insurance is advantageous.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail and fluency in English (local languages are a plus).
