IT Operations and Planning Specialist

About the role

Lucid, a luxury electric vehicle manufacturer, is seeking an experienced IT Operations and Planning Specialist to work directly with the Director of IT Planning. The Planning and Operations Office covers IT strategy and planning, financial management, operations and management, vendor management, workforce planning, the CIO council governance and the Chiefs of Staff teams, and develops and executes IT operations and technology plans while coordinating IT business office functions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a process expert in the assigned area, guiding other staff, resolving complex problems and helping develop tactical and strategic plans for systems and applications development and modification.
• Develop and direct projects that improve process maturity and efficiency, clarify roles and expand automation.
• Lead business process analysis to turn organizational needs into clear specifications.
• Work with cross-functional leaders to scope projects, align objectives and coordinate stakeholders.
• Identify new process improvement opportunities, map and document processes, and independently recommend and implement improvements.
• Act as an advocate and change agent to sustain improvements across the operations organization.

Required profile

• 6+ years of relevant business experience.
• Track record of improving the IT customer experience.
• Experience leading or managing small teams and planning analytical work.
• Broad experience with major technologies, from legacy to emerging.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and implement program management best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate problem-solving and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree or certification in operations management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
