IT Systems Support Analyst – Full‑time (3 positions)

About the role

The client, a leading development corporate institution in Kampala, Uganda, is seeking three full‑time IT Systems Support Analysts. The role focuses on maintaining and supporting conferencing, collaboration, and network technologies while delivering user training and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Support conferencing and collaboration tools such as WebEx and Cisco Jabber, as well as cloud‑based services.
• Organise client outreach activities, including IT expos and user training sessions.
• Collaborate with vendor technical support to resolve client issues and manage escalation processes.
• Monitor and maintain locally leased and international ISP circuits.
• Provide country‑office level network administration, routine troubleshooting, maintenance, and hardware/software upgrades.
• Install, configure, and support standard hardware and software (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners).
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and protect client data.
• Facilitate videoconference preparation and execution.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory and support procurement of office technology.

Required profile

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience providing IT support or delivering IT training in an end‑user environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to translate technical material into layperson terms and analyse information accurately.
• Effective problem‑solving skills and capacity to work under stress.
• Team‑oriented attitude with empathy for client concerns.
