Kitchen Staff – Breakfast & Lunch Service

About the role

Join Opaa! Food Management as a Kitchen Staff member responsible for preparing breakfast and lunch offerings, supporting serving lines, and assisting with occasional catering events. You will work in a fast‑paced cafeteria environment, ensuring food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain serving lines, ensuring food is held at required temperatures.
• Prepare menu items according to Opaa! recipes, including baking breads, cakes, and cookies.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders and other kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FIFO inventory practices.
• Monitor and record hot and cold food temperatures, adhering to HACCP and HHFKA/CACFP regulations.
• Requisition supplies, manage inventory, and restock serving stations.
• Participate in safety programs, daily dish meetings, and required training.

Required profile

• Ability to follow standardized recipes and menu plans accurately.
• Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and compliance with HACCP procedures.
• Willingness to work onsite in a team‑oriented kitchen environment.
• Reliability in attending meetings, trainings, and adhering to company core values.

Required skills

• Food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Operation of slicers, mixers, and grinders (certified).
• Food safety knowledge (HACCP, temperature monitoring).
• Inventory management using FIFO principles.
• Baking basics for breads, cakes, and cookies.
