LBF Salesperson – Loan & Financial Products

About the role

The LBF Salesperson is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Nakawa, Kampala. You will promote and sell loan and financial products to both existing and prospective clients, helping them navigate the application process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities and engage potential customers.
• Explain product features, benefits, interest rates and repayment terms.
• Guide clients through the loan application process and ensure timely conversion of leads.
• Meet assigned sales targets and maintain accurate records of client interactions.
• Follow up on leads, manage documentation and collaborate with branch and credit teams to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong sales and customer service abilities with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic numeracy and financial literacy to understand loan products.
• Organizational and time‑management skills for handling multiple clients and documentation.
• High integrity, reliability and ethical conduct when handling client information.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet targets and adapt to a fast‑paced micro‑finance environment.
• Certificate or diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in sales, micro‑finance, banking or financial services is beneficial but not mandatory.
