Lead Security Engineer

About the role

Lucid is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise‑scale security solutions across network, application, and endpoint environments. You will act as a trusted security advisor, working closely with software and data engineers to embed robust controls throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain access control policies, security architectures, and incident response processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security controls into cloud, container, and mobile platforms.
• Conduct security assessments, code audits, vulnerability remediation, and offensive security exercises.
• Lead security operations, respond to incidents, and provide post‑event analysis.

Required profile

• 15+ years of high‑level technical security experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead security design and advise business units on risk mitigation.

Required skills

• CCIE Security, CISSP, F5‑ASM, Kubernetes, Infoblox, Palo Alto certifications.
• Hands‑on experience with F5 Big‑IP, Palo Alto, Infoblox, Cisco networking.
• Deep knowledge of network design, cloud services (PaaS/IaaS/SaaS), virtualization, containerization, mobile security, encryption/PKI, database and API security.
• Expertise in SIEM, DLP, MFA, endpoint protection, micro‑segmentation, privileged account management, and web application firewalls.
