Loan Officer

About the role

YOO & TUU Capital Ltd is seeking motivated Loan Officers to join its fast‑growing financial services team in Kampala. You will play a key part in expanding the company’s credit portfolio by identifying borrowers, assessing loan applications, and ensuring timely repayments while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and recruit potential borrowers for salary, micro‑business, logbook, and mortgage loans.
• Assess customers' loan needs and recommend suitable products.
• Process loan applications, follow up on documentation, and obtain approvals.
• Monitor repayments, track portfolio performance, and manage delinquent accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing financial guidance.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to portfolio growth.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, lending, micro‑finance, banking or customer acquisition.
• Strong communication, negotiation and sales abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid riding permit and confidence to travel on a motorcycle.
• High integrity, professionalism and customer‑focused attitude.
