Master Trainer – Youth Connect Programme

About the role
The British Council is seeking a Master Trainer to lead the delivery and quality assurance of the Youth Connect Inclusive Economic Empowerment programme in Uganda. You will adapt centrally‑developed training materials to the local context, ensure consistency across delivery partners and support young people in gaining employment or enterprise skills.
Key responsibilities
- Review, refine and contextualise training curricula and materials for the Ugandan setting.
- Co‑create content with local delivery partners and other master trainers.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for youth participants.
- Provide mentorship and technical support to delivery partners throughout the programme phases.
- Monitor training quality, collect feedback and report on programme impact.
- Contribute to the development of monitoring and evaluation tools.
Required profile
- Proven experience in adult learning, curriculum design and facilitation.
- Background in youth empowerment, leadership development or inclusive economic programmes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders in Uganda.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel within Uganda as required.
