About the role
The Mission Support Supervisor (Facilities) provides multi‑function service to support the Church’s mission of helping individuals come to Jesus Christ. This people‑manager role oversees para‑professionals and ensures mission facilities are safe, welcoming, and spiritually appropriate for missionaries.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate directly with the mission president to meet facility needs.
- Negotiate apartment leases and renewals for mission housing.
- Support the support services department with fleet management.
- Field service requests, assign work to vendors, and verify compliance with specifications.
- Conduct monthly facility inspections and manage mission drivers or home attendants.
- Scope and oversee building renovation projects aligned with upcoming mission requirements.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Must hold a valid temple recommend.
- At least five years of relevant experience, higher‑education, or progress toward an industry‑recognized certification.
- Previous leadership experience in a work setting.
- Preferred: recognized higher‑education degree, directly related experience, and applicable certifications.
