Montessori Teacher

About the role

Sadhguru School Uganda is seeking a dedicated Montessori Teacher to join its rural campus. The role involves creating a nurturing, child‑centred environment that encourages independence, curiosity and respect for the learning process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a prepared Montessori classroom, ensuring materials are organized and accessible.
• Present Montessori materials and guide children through self‑directed activities.
• Observe, document and assess each child’s progress, adapting the environment to support individual development.
• Support daily routines, including circle time, snack, and outdoor activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, school leadership and families to promote holistic development.

Required profile

• Passion for child wellbeing and inclusive, learner‑centred education.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Capacity to build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Required skills

• Experience with Montessori materials and methodology (preferred but not mandatory).
