Operations & Growth Lead

About the role

The Operations & Growth Lead will oversee daily operations and drive expansion for a construction‑tech platform. Based in Kampala, this full‑time position ensures smooth workflows across bidding, client management and project coordination while shaping growth strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operational activities, optimizing processes and workflows.
• Develop and execute growth strategies, identify market expansion opportunities and set performance targets.
• Coordinate with product, customer support and partner teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain and grow relationships with clients, contractors and material providers.
• Analyze operational data, generate insights and track key metrics and KPIs.
• Prepare regular reports and lead cross‑functional initiatives.
• Contribute to strategic decisions that drive user acquisition, retention and overall business growth.

Required profile

• Strong operations management experience, including process optimisation and performance tracking.
• Background in business development or growth roles with market analysis and partnership building.
• Proven project management skills – planning, prioritisation and timeline management.
• Analytical mindset with ability to work with data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Comfortable using digital tools; experience in construction, proptech or SaaS is a plus.
• Self‑starter who can work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering or related field.
