Part‑time Barista/Staff (Intern or Volunteer)

About the role

Greyhouse Coffee And Supply Co. is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join its team across three locations in Uganda. The role is part‑time (minimum 15 hours per week) and is open to interns and volunteers who share a passion for hospitality, quality coffee, and community building.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a premium guest experience through friendly service and product presentation.
• Prepare, produce, and package high‑quality food and beverage items, including espresso drinks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure the espresso station is well‑stocked.
• Operate the cash register, take orders, and handle transactions accurately.
• Perform pre‑shift and post‑shift duties, including cleaning, paperwork, and training sessions.
• Assist with opening and/or closing duties as needed.

Required profile

• Desire to serve and help others with a genuine, courteous attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and passion for food, coffee, and quality.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
