Preschool Bus Driver

About the role

Cadence Education is looking for a dedicated Preschool Bus Driver who loves working with children and ensures safe, joyful transportation to and from our early‑learning centers. This full‑time position combines reliable driving with a supportive, child‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Transport preschool‑age children safely between home and school each day.
• Create a positive, engaging atmosphere on the bus with kid‑friendly music and encouraging language.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain compliance with state licensing and DMV standards.
• Monitor student behavior, document any concerns, and communicate with the director.
• Greet authorized pick‑up persons, ensuring secure hand‑offs.
• Participate in in‑service training, staff meetings, and parent events.
• Keep all certifications, licenses, and paperwork current.
• Optionally assist in classroom or teacher‑assistant duties as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Meets all state preschool and bus driver licensing requirements.
• Passes Cadence Education’s insurance underwriting standards.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
