Preschool Cook – Full-Time

About the role

Cadence Education is looking for a passionate Preschool Cook to join its vibrant early‑learning team. You will prepare nutritious, kid‑approved meals and snacks that keep our preschoolers energized for learning and play.

Key responsibilities

• Create healthy meals and snacks that meet USDA guidelines.
• Organize and manage food and supply storage areas.
• Serve meals to classrooms, ensuring each child receives their portion.
• Handle dishwashing and maintain a clean, efficient kitchen environment.
• Perform additional duties such as laundry, equipment cleaning, and toy sanitizing.
• Lift and move supplies as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old.
• Meets all state preschool cook requirements.
• Minimum 1 year experience in food planning, preparation, and service following USDA guidelines.
• Preferred: Current Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification.
