Preschool Cook – Full‑Time Kitchen Role

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Preschool Cook to join Cadence Education’s vibrant early‑learning environment. You will prepare nutritious meals and snacks that support the health and energy of our preschool‑aged children while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

Key responsibilities

• Create and serve balanced, kid‑friendly meals and snacks following USDA guidelines.
• Organize and manage food and supply storage, ensuring proper inventory.
• Deliver meals to classrooms promptly and with a friendly attitude.
• Maintain a spotless kitchen, including dishwashing and equipment sanitation.
• Assist with additional duties such as laundry, equipment cleaning, and toy sanitizing.
• Perform occasional lifting and other physical tasks as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; at least 18 years old.
• Meets all state preschool cook requirements.
• Minimum one year of experience in food planning, preparation, and service.
• Preferred: current Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification.
