Preschool Float Teacher – Early Childhood Assistant

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a dedicated Preschool Float Teacher to support our vibrant early‑learning classrooms. Working under the School Director and lead teachers, you will help create a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere and greet children and families daily.
• Assist with implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Support children with individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral support plans.
• Document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated child behaviors according to Cadence procedures.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence‑approved tools.
• Follow all safety, licensing, and policy guidelines outlined in the Employee Handbook.

• Passion for working with young children and a caring, respectful attitude.
• Ability to build welcoming relationships with families and staff.
• Willingness to adhere to safety, licensing, and procedural standards.
• Flexibility to support various classroom settings as a float teacher.
