Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to join our dedicated team of early‑childhood educators. Reporting to the School Director, you will create a safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver curriculum aligned with Cadence Education’s philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Lead daily classroom operations, ensuring compliance with licensing, safety, and health standards.
• Support children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development, including implementation of IEPs and behavioral plans.
• Maintain accurate records of accidents, incidents, and behavior reports.
• Communicate regularly with families, staff, and leadership using Cadence‑required tools.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and professional‑development activities.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or preschool education.
• Ability to foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and licensing requirements.
• Flexibility to attend required trainings outside regular hours.

Required skills

• Knowledge of early‑childhood development best practices.
• Familiarity with implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Proficiency in using Cadence Education’s communication and documentation systems.
