Preschool Lead Teacher – Two Year Olds

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher for two‑year‑old children. Reporting to the School Director, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment while leading classroom operations and delivering the Cadence Education curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Create a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels respected and cared for.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children and families through daily greetings and ongoing communication.
• Identify and respond to diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including implementing IEPs and behavioral support plans.
• Plan, implement, and document curriculum aligned with Cadence’s educational philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Utilize Cadence‑required systems and communication tools for professional interaction with families, staff, and leadership.
• Maintain a safe, well‑supervised classroom and follow the Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual.
• Accurately document accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per company policy and licensing requirements.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies, procedures, and standards outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in required trainings, meetings, and professional development, which may occur outside regular hours.

Required profile

• Experience in early childhood education, childcare, daycare, or preschool settings.
• Ability to work with children who have Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavioral support plans.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with families, staff, and leadership.
• Commitment to following licensing, safety, and health regulations.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
