Preschool Teacher Assistant – Early Childhood Education

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support a vibrant, research‑based classroom environment. Working under the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will help create a safe, nurturing space where young children can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere for each child.
• Greet children and families daily, building welcoming relationships.
• Assist with individualized developmental, behavioral, and cultural needs, including IEPs and behavior plans.
• Support planning and delivery of developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, staff, and leadership using Cadence‑approved tools.
• Follow safety and supervision policies, documenting accidents and incidents.
• Manage and report escalated child behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Adhere to all company policies and attend required meetings, trainings, and professional development.

Required profile

• Passion for working with young children and early childhood education.
• Experience in childcare, daycare, or related settings.
• Ability to follow safety, licensing, and policy guidelines.
• Professional communication skills with families and team members.
