Preschool Teacher (Early Childhood Educator)

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join its supportive, research‑based early childhood program. Working under the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will help create a safe, nurturing classroom where young children can explore, learn, and grow.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily classroom operations and maintain consistent routines.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Engage with children and families, building welcoming, professional relationships.
• Implement IEPs and behavioral support plans as directed, documenting progress and incidents.
• Follow Cadence safety and supervision policies, reporting accidents and incidents promptly.
• Manage and document child behavior in line with classroom expectations.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education.
• Ability to work with diverse developmental, behavioral, and cultural needs, including children with IEPs.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with early childhood curriculum standards.
• Proficiency using Cadence‑approved communication and documentation tools.
