Preschool Teacher (Toddler)

About the role

Cadence Education is looking for a passionate preschool teacher to join our toddler classroom. You will work under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that supports each child’s physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily classroom operations and maintain consistent routines.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Follow IEPs, behavioral support plans, and Cadence safety policies, documenting incidents as required.
• Observe, document, and help manage child behaviors in line with classroom expectations.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education.
• Ability to work with diverse children, including those with IEPs and behavioral support plans.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with families and team members.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
