Process Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Manager Process Engineering to lead the development, maintenance and implementation of the Process Science Framework at Stanbic Bank. The role will professionalise business operations, improve process maturity and drive efficiencies with a client‑centric focus.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth analysis of products and services to ensure they are delivered through effective and efficient business processes.
• Identify, quantify and prioritize improvement opportunities across organisational design and strategy.
• Contribute specialist input to the Process Excellence Centre of Excellence (CoE) technology plan and the Group IT plan, defining relevant technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive process roadmap covering short‑, medium‑ and long‑term execution imperatives.
• Design, deliver and monitor practical solutions using structured process‑improvement disciplines.
• Report on end‑to‑end process performance, demonstrating value to senior leadership.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance, resolving queries and delivering targeted training.
• Facilitate workshops and forums to communicate Process Science concepts across the organisation.

Required profile

• First degree in Information Studies or a related field.
• Strong understanding of banking processes, products, data and systems.
• 5‑7 years of experience in business process management, modelling, analysis, design, engineering and continuous improvement.
• Proven workflow experience and ability to work with process‑analysis tools.
