Project Manager

About the role

Aptech Africa Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead solar energy and solar water‑pumping projects across Africa. You will coordinate all phases of project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Track all ongoing projects using Project Management software and update submissions in HubSpot.
• Maintain clear communication with clients throughout project implementation.
• Follow up on outstanding tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor project costs to stay within budget and adjust schedules as needed.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, assigning tasks and communicating deliverables.
• Apply industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution.
• Measure performance and identify areas for improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field.
• 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in the renewable‑energy sector.
• Proven expertise with project management software and tools.
• Ability to work with field associates and contractors, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Reliable, flexible, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
