Project Officer – Livelihoods (Temporary Cover)

About the role
The Project Officer, Livelihoods will support the DRIVE project in Rhino Camp, Uganda, providing temporary cover for three months. Reporting to the Project Manager, the role ensures continuity of livelihood activities and contributes to the overall success of the programme.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning, implementing and monitoring livelihood interventions.
- Coordinate with local partners and beneficiaries to ensure timely delivery of project components.
- Collect and analyse data on project outcomes, preparing regular reports for the Project Manager.
- Support budgeting and resource allocation for livelihood activities.
- Facilitate community meetings and trainings related to income‑generating activities.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in project or programme management, preferably in agriculture or livelihoods.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a humanitarian context and adapt to challenging environments.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
