Quality Excellence & Continuous Improvement Manager

About the role

The Quality Excellence & Continuous Improvement Manager will lead quality improvement initiatives across d.light’s Africa business. You will identify, analyze, and eliminate product and process issues that affect customer experience, reliability, and operational performance, fostering a data‑driven culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality excellence programs across products, service operations, supply chain, and partner networks.
• Identify systemic quality issues and develop sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct deep‑dive investigations of product failures, warranty returns, field defects, and customer complaints.
• Validate the effectiveness of corrective actions and coordinate technical reviews with engineering, product management, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
• Monitor product reliability performance, identify recurring issues, and drive durability and robustness improvements.
• Collaborate with Customer Experience, Service Operations, and Commercial teams to reduce repeat failures and improve satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain quality dashboards, analyze trends in returns, warranty claims, and field data.
• Act as the central point for cross‑functional quality initiatives across the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality management, continuous improvement, or reliability engineering within a product‑focused organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to lead root‑cause investigations and drive data‑based decisions.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and regional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously and deliver measurable results.
