Quality Excellence & Continuous Improvement Manager

About the role

The Quality Excellence & Continuous Improvement Manager will lead initiatives to raise product reliability and customer satisfaction across D.light’s Africa operations. You will work closely with engineering, service, manufacturing partners and regional teams to identify and eliminate quality issues using data‑driven methods.

Key responsibilities

• Drive quality excellence programmes across products, service operations, supply chain and partner networks.
• Identify systemic quality problems and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Develop and monitor quality improvement roadmaps using Lean, Six Sigma and structured problem‑solving.
• Lead deep‑dive investigations of product failures, warranty returns and field defects.
• Coordinate technical reviews and corrective actions with engineering, product management, suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Monitor product reliability performance, flag recurring issues and support validation activities.
• Collaborate with Customer Experience and Commercial teams to reduce repeat failures, service visits and warranty claims.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 5 years of experience in quality, reliability or continuous improvement roles.
• Proven track record of leading cross‑functional quality projects in an industrial or consumer‑goods environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate field data into actionable improvements.
