Reception Night Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Reception Night Auditor to join our hotel team during the overnight shift. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes while maintaining accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage check‑in/check‑out procedures during the night shift.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests.
• Perform end‑of‑day audits, reconcile all hotel transactions, and verify billing accuracy.
• Balance cash, credit‑card, and other payment methods.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports.
• Ensure security and safety of guests, staff, and property throughout the night.
• Handle reservations, room allocations, and coordinate with housekeeping and security.
• Report maintenance issues and any incidents that occur during the shift.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with hotel policies.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Night Auditor, Receptionist, Front Desk Agent, or similar hotel role.
• Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure, and work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
