Remote Sales Agent - Insurance

About the role

Liberty Uganda offers a wide range of customer-tailored insurance solutions for life-changing events, including funeral, life, education, accidental disability, critical illness and health coverage. It is hiring full-time remote Sales Agents who will identify and engage potential customers, present suitable insurance products and support them through the application and onboarding process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers and present suitable insurance products
• Explain benefits, terms and conditions clearly and respond to customer inquiries
• Support clients through the application and onboarding process and maintain regular contact to ensure ongoing satisfaction
• Build and manage a portfolio of clients and meet sales targets
• Document all interactions and sales activities accurately
• Collaborate with internal teams, take part in training sessions and stay up to date on product offerings and industry developments

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in insurance or financial services, including lead generation and closing deals
• Strong communication and customer service skills, able to explain insurance products clearly and build trust
• Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
• Willingness to take part in training and develop product knowledge
• Prior experience in remote or field sales is an advantage; a relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance or a related field is beneficial
