Sales and Marketing Associate

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Associate is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kampala. Working under the Insurance Agency Manager, you will support the entire sales cycle—from lead identification to closing—while helping to execute marketing campaigns and client communications.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and nurture new leads through outreach and follow‑up.
• Assist senior team members in managing the sales pipeline and closing deals.
• Implement marketing campaigns, prepare presentations and proposals, and coordinate client meetings.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and gather client feedback.
• Collaborate with creative and account teams to ensure campaign alignment with client goals.
• Support promotional events, attend regular training sessions, and contribute ideas for performance improvement.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with the ability to build professional relationships.
• Proficiency in basic sales and marketing activities, including lead generation and negotiation.
• Eagerness to learn through training programs and continuous self‑development.
• Basic understanding of advertising and marketing principles; agency experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable working on‑site in a fast‑paced, collaborative team environment.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
