Sales and Marketing Associate

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Associate will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala, supporting the insurance agency’s growth through client acquisition and retention. You will be the front‑line representative, presenting services, following up leads and contributing to marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients for the agency.
• Present agency services, negotiate and close sales.
• Follow up on leads and maintain a pipeline of opportunities.
• Assist in the design and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
• Provide high‑quality customer service, respond to client inquiries and resolve issues.
• Deliver basic training or guidance to clients on agency processes and products.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align sales and marketing activities with business objectives.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Proven sales and marketing abilities, with a focus on lead generation and deal closure.
• Capability to train or onboard clients on services.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field (preferred).
• Prior experience in sales, marketing, recruitment or advertising is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage multiple tasks and meet targets in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools.
