About the role

The Sales and Marketing Representative is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kampala, working for an insurance agency. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, presenting agency services to prospects, and maintaining relationships with existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and generate leads.
• Present agency services to potential clients and conduct sales meetings.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients through follow‑ups and inquiries.
• Support campaign development by gathering client requirements and coordinating with internal teams.
• Prepare basic reports on sales performance and market trends.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Goal‑oriented work habits with good negotiation and time‑management skills.
• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field preferred.
• Relevant experience in sales or marketing is highly beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office and communication software.
• Experience with CRM tools (advantageous).
• Basic knowledge of digital and social media marketing.
