Salesperson – Field Loan & Finance Sales

About the role

The Salesperson will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala, prospecting and engaging potential clients for Platinum Credit Limited’s loan and finance products. The role involves guiding customers through application, approval and documentation while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, visit and present loan and finance products to new and existing clients.
• Collect, verify and process customer documentation and maintain accurate lead records.
• Achieve daily/weekly sales targets and report market trends to the branch and credit teams.
• Build and sustain relationships with clients, handling basic inquiries and providing post‑sale support.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and persuasion abilities with a focus on meeting targets.
• Customer‑service mindset, active listening, empathy and high integrity.
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of loan products and credit processes.
• Effective communication in English and local languages, both spoken and written.
• Diploma or certificate in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field; relevant experience may substitute formal education.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
• Familiarity with CRM or sales‑tracking tools.
