Sales Executive

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a full‑time Sales Executive to join its Sales and Marketing department in Kampala. You will be responsible for generating new business, presenting the agency’s advertising and marketing services, and closing deals with prospective clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities through meetings, calls, emails and networking.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and keep accurate records in the CRM system.
• Prepare tailored proposals, present solutions and lead negotiations to secure contracts.
• Collaborate with account management and creative teams to ensure client requirements are met.
• Track sales performance against targets, produce regular reports and represent the agency at industry events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or client relationship management within advertising, marketing or related fields.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities, work cross‑functionally and meet or exceed sales targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with the Kampala market and a professional, customer‑focused attitude.
