Sales Executive

About the role

SVG VENTURES PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES LLC is seeking a Sales Executive to drive new business in the international trade finance sector. Based in Kampala, you will work directly with global clients, presenting tailored financial solutions that support cross‑border commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and prepare proposals and quotations.
• Negotiate terms within established guidelines and coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation and timely service delivery.
• Provide ongoing client support and maintain strong relationships.
• Track sales activities, keep the pipeline updated, and deliver regular performance and market trend reports.

Required profile

• Experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably in financial services or international trade.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Solid understanding of basic finance and trade concepts, with a willingness to learn company‑specific products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala, manage multiple priorities and meet targets in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior experience with international clients or trade‑related industries is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools.
