Sales Executive – Western Uganda

About the role

The Sales Executive will lead the company’s sales activities across Western Uganda, developing and executing regional plans to meet growth targets. You will work closely with existing customers and prospect new accounts to build long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with company objectives.
• Identify, prospect and convert new customers into long‑term partners.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximise retention.
• Conduct market visits to capture customer needs, trends and opportunities.
• Generate, follow up and convert sales leads.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Negotiate pricing and close sales within approved guidelines.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence.
• Ensure product visibility and merchandising across assigned outlets.
• Participate in trade exhibitions and promotional events.
• Collect customer payments within agreed credit terms.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Sales Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience (approximately 36 months).
• Mid‑level professional with proven ability to meet sales targets.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to travel within the assigned region for market visits.
• Good analytical skills to monitor market trends and competitor activity.
