About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our client’s agro‑processing business in Uganda. The role focuses on driving sales growth for fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) within the agro‑processing sector, overseeing a sales team and expanding market presence.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the agro‑processing market.
  • Lead, coach and manage a sales team to ensure high performance and attainment of goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and nurture relationships with key FMCG clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and adjust tactics accordingly.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports and performance dashboards for senior management.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in sales leadership within FMCG or agro‑processing environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of revenue growth and business development.
  • Strong ability to manage and motivate sales teams in a fast‑moving setting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
